The Interlakes Summer Theatre will bring three cool comedians together at Pitman’s Freight Room on Friday May 18 at 7:30, to perform an improvisational comedy show-with audience input! Allison Deller is a comedian from NYC, coming to us off recent appearances at Dangerfields. J.T. Turner is a professional actor with a prolific career in the Boston area. Fran Page is well known in the Lakes Region/Plymouth area, a beloved director, professor at PSU, fondly remembered for his performance at ETC as Shrek. Taylor Warren is a rising senior following the BFA Musical Theatre track in Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts. He is thrilled to be cast as Bernardo in his all-time favorite musical! Recent credits at Point Park University include The Boyfriend (Pepe/Dance Captain), Urinetown (Caldwell B. Cladwell), and The Wind in the Willows (Mr. Badger). Other credits include Little Women (John Brooke), West Side Story (Action), and Hairspray (Corny Collins). He would like to dedicate these performances to his late teacher and friend, Ron Tassone, a legend in the theatre and dance world. He sends all his love to his family for their unyielding support!
Jamie Finkenthal – Originally from Cleveland,Ohio Jamie is a graduate of Chicago College Of Performing Arts/Roosevelt University where she received her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. Favorite Regional credits include; Tent Theatre, Apollo Theatre (Chicago), The Little Theatre on The Square, Timber Lake Playhouse, Cain Park and Pagosa Center For The Arts. Jamie’s next show will be playing Lucy in A Charlie Brown Christmas at The Broadway Playhouse in Downtown Chicago. Jamie is so excited to be working at Interlakes Theatre this summer. She would like to thank Nancy for this amazing opportunity and her family and friends for their love and support.
Julia Suriano (Maria) is thrilled to be making her Interlakes Theatre debut! Recent regional/collegiate credits include: Cosette in Les Miserables (Red Mountain Theatre Company) and Fredrika in A Little Night Music (Manhattan School of Music). Ms. Suriano is a recent graduate of Manhattan School of Music in classical voice performance.
Kaitlyn Cantoni (Ensemble) Interlakes debut! B.A. in Psychology and Dance from The College of Staten Island. Credits: South Pacific (Liat), Fiddler on the Roof (Chava), Cabaret (Rosie/Gorilla), Swing, Catch Me If You Can, Joseph.., and Footloose. The Interlakes Summer Theatre is excited to finally announce the Broadway show that up to now has been a secret. The show to be performed from June 30-July 12th is America’s most popular musical, “West Side Story”! This classic Leonard Bernstein/Stephen Sondheim dance musical was inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, and is set in an Upper West Side neighborhood in New York City in the mid 1950’s and explores the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two teenage street gangs of different ethnic backgrounds. The production is sponsored by The Mug and The Bay Restaurant in Center Harbor.
