The Interlakes Summer Theatre is teaming up with the Montana family to present a staged reading of a musical that was written by Meredith native, Bob Montana, who created the characters for the Archie comic strip. The musical was originally produced by the Village Players of Meredith, in the 1950’s.  “Mutiny on the Mount” is set in the “roaring twenties” at the Weirs in New Hampshire, with book and lyrics by Bob Montana, and music by Sir Arthur Sullivan of Gilbert and Sullivan and the H.M.S. Pinafore fame.

The show will be presented on July 20 at both a matinee and evening show, and tickets will be $20.00. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Meredith Historical Society.
