Is there a Santa Claus? Children all around the world have been asking this question for centuries. In 1897, young Virginia O’Hanlon wrote a letter to The New York Sun newspaper. Her quest for truth inspired one of the world’s most famous editorials and helped an entire city believe.

Interlakes summer Theatre will present “Yes, Virginia, the Musical”, Saturday, December 6th at 4:00 &7:00 and Sunday December 7th at 3:00 at the Inter-Lakes Community Auditorium in Meredith. Producing Artistic Director,  Nancy BarryPaul Gregg, from this summer’s “Big, The Musical”, and fan favorite, Mikey LoBalsalmo star alongside local youth in this musical based on the unforgettable true story. Bring the whole family, and celebrate the holidays with a little bit of magic.

All audience members are invited to join us before the show to write their own letters to Santa. Interlakes Theatre will collect the letters on behalf of Macy’s, who will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for every letter they receive this holiday season. There will also be a “Christmas Shoppe” where children (and adults) can choose and buy little presents for their friends and family.
