Brittany Bara

BrittanyBARA_Thumb_WebIn 2003, Brittany began working as an assistant to the General Manager of Emerson Stage, which is the producing arm of the Department of Performing Arts at Emerson College.  While in the office, she was able to observe and assist in the daily operations of running a bustling theatre.  In addition to working in the Emerson Stage office, Brittany began taking on a more active arts administration role, working as a house manager and box office associate for Emerson Stage’s 3 performance venues; eventually working her way up to Patron Services Manager, overseeing all of the  House Managers, Ushers and Box Office employees.
After graduating from Emerson College in 2007 with a BFA in musical theatre, Brittany spent two and a half years travelling with the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT).  While on the road, Brittany and her tour partner(s) acted as their own production company; casting, directing, performing, and teaching…and doing it all over again in a new city every week.
The summer of 2008, Brittany took time out from MCT to travel out to Meredith, and help Nancy with the inaugural Interlakes Theatre season.  Not only did Brittany perform in the mainstage shows, but served as the director of the Children’s Theatre program as well.  The summer of 2008 re-kindled a friendship between Nancy and Brittany, and Brittany has been helping and serving the Interlakes Theatre off and on in many capacities over the past 5 years.  She is proud and honored to be returning this year as the General Manager.
