• “Always, Patsy Cline” Returns to Meredith

The Interlakes Summer Theatre, a professional summer stock company will return to the Interlakes Auditorium for one weekend in November to bring you “Always, Patsy Cline”. Appearing as Patsy Cline, is a Summer Theatre favorite, Brittany Bara, who has appeared here in “Carousel”, Buddy Holly”, “Anything Goes”, “Lend Me a Tenor” and most recently, “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee“. Ms Bara, now living in NYC, is a native Texas gal, who was weaned on Patsy Cline music.

Ms Barry, ILHS Producing Artistic Director, will appear as Patsy Cline’s wacky, adoring fan. “I love doing this show.”, says Ms Barry. “It has a sweet story line, lots of laughs, a little audience participation and tons of heart. And in an hour and a half you hear 25 Patsy Cline hits. It’s like one big hoe-down at one of them big ole’ honky tonks”.

The duo will be backed up by a six piece live band. Returning to the ILHS stage is Kevin Winebold, Music Director & Accompanist. Mr. Winebold comes to us via NYC and last joined us here for “Disney’s High School Musical”. Also returning from this past summer is Todd Little on fiddle (Wilbur Turnblatt/ Hairspray, Herr Schultz/Cabaret, High Pockets/Buddy), Dave LeBlanc on percussion, Phil Bacotti on Guitar, and Ross Munroe on Bass, and newcomer, Phil Sanguedolce on Steel Guitar.

Performances are Saturday, November 19 at 7:30 and Sunday November 20th at 2:00 and 7:00 at the ILHS Auditorium. All tickets are $25.00 and seats are reserved. For info and tickets call 1-888-245-6374.
