According to Nancy Barry, Producing Artistic Director, “We have so many folks who are asking us to produce events year round, and this is one of the events that has grown in popularity over the last three years.”
All three performers in the show are from New York City. One of them, Sheira Feuerstein will be remembered by STMV audiences as Matron Morton in the summers production of “Chicago”. Inhabiting the personae of “Bing” is STMV favorite Cary Mitchell, who appeared in a feature role in every show last season from “My Way” thru “Spelling Bee”. Newcomer Nick Miller is a singer/actor who makes his side career impersonating “Elvis”in NYC.
“We decided to do the event at the Meredith Community Center this year, in order to bring everbody’s costs down and keep the travel to a minimum for our more mature drivers. We are also so lucky to have Paul Ursillo and Amy Elfline from “The Mug” to cater a tasty Italian buffet dinner”, says Ms. Barry with a giant smile on her face.
Performances were on Thursday, December 9th, (Noon Seating), Saturday, December 11th (6:00 Seating) and Sunday, December 12th (1:00 Seating).
Thanks to all who came out to see the show!
